In ‘The Kettle is Always On’, the sisters offer an intimate, humorous perspective on how we seek stability in a chaotic world.
The show will premiere on Saturday 8 August during Boulevard.
About the artist
Melody (1998) and Lily (2003) Nolander grew up in a travelling circus family in the United States and later both moved to Rotterdam to study at Codarts Circus Arts. As a duo they perform under the name Nolanders, a reference to their nomadic roots. Melody won the BNG Circus Prize in 2021; Lily received a nomination for it in 2025. ‘The Kettle is Always On’ is their debut co-creation, a co-production by TENT and De Landing.
