Nothing Ontploffing

Elmer takes you into a world where celebration and a broken spirit go hand in hand. But also: a place where the grey area does more justice to the searching and stumbling human being than the oh so tough black and white thinking. Intriguing? Yes, and worth a little background check. Because rapper, producer and actor Elmer also identifies himself as Merel Pauw [1995]. That name does ring a bell: Merel Pauw is associated with DIEHELEDING, the best hip hop theatre collective in the Netherlands and has performed with Het Nationale Toneel and Toneelgroep Oostpool among others. Merel is also a maker with DOX, the Utrecht platform for young stage talent.
