The interactive dance and music theatre performance 'Glijbaan' celebrates the playground as the ultimate place of courage, movement and freedom. With a little imagination, anything is possible, and the very youngest can experience the biggest adventures. Because what is more exciting than sliding down that familiar diagonal chute — the ultimate toddler adrenaline rush?

'Glijbaan' is made for children from eighteen months and their caretakers. Because it applies to grown-ups too: sometimes a slide really is the best idea of the day.

About the artist

dt DaalRuit makes playful, physical performances for children from eighteen months. The collective is led by director Diede Daalman and dance-artist Rebecca Wijnruit. Their work always starts from the world as experienced by their young audience: direct, humorous and full of room for surprise. Every performance takes shape in dialogue with the children themselves, and collaboration with artists from other disciplines is a natural part of that process.
