Ballroom (5+)

You take your seat inside a converted truck. Within it, visual artist Lodewijk Heylen has created a concrete set, in which juggler Stijn Grupping conjures an absorbing dance of bouncing balls. To the sounds of musicians Jochem Baelus and Frederik Meulyzer, he draws you into a wordless show full of rhythm.

'Ballroom' was selected for the TheaterFestival Vlaanderen in 2025. From the jury report: "It makes Ballroom a circus performance with not only impressive technical juggling skills, but also a visual magic that instantly makes you feel like a child again. For beyond the boundary-pushing technique that inspires wonder, this performance also simply makes you dream, until after half an hour you bounce back into reality like a little ball."
