Experiencing culture should be possible for everyone, even if you are easily overstimulated. At Boulevard, we are committed to this in various ways. For instance, there are performances specifically tailored to visitors with a low sensory tolerance, and you will find quiet areas in various locations that you can make use of.

At Boulevard, we offer facilities for people with low sensory tolerance for a number of performances. For this, we collaborate with Stichting Onbeperkt Genieten. In addition to our collaboration with Stichting Onbeperkt Genieten, we are in direct dialogue with our creators regarding which performances we consider suitable for people with low sensory tolerance. In doing so, we consider factors such as the duration of the performance, the extent to which the performance was developed in collaboration with people with high sensory sensitivity, and the use of theatrical effects.

Please note: a number of these performances take place in the festival hub. Although the performance itself contains few stimuli, you will still hear background noise from what is happening on the square.
