Performing at Boulevard

Theaterfestival Boulevard works with a programme team that puts together the programme on stage and on various locations, at the festival plaza and in the city. Right now,Currently, the programming for the 2022 edition has been finalised. The registration procedure for participating in Theaterfestival Boulevard 2023 will run until mid December 2022. We receive hundreds of applications per year and regretfully, we cannot speak to everyone personally.

We show work exclusively by professional theatre producers and musicians. Plans/ideas are welcome after registering by email. State clearly in your email what sort of project you offer. Registration is possible by emailing to nina@festivalboulevard.nl.

ON STAGE AND AT LOCATION

theatre – dance – musical theatre – performance
The programme on stage and at locations consists of work by performing artists from the Netherlands and Flanders in addition to international guests. We work with a number of performing artists for multiple years. The programming is usually based on personal invitations.

FESTIVAL PARK

BLVRD Theater
youth theatre – musical theatre – bands
In the afternoons, the BLVRD Theater tent hosts theatre and dance for younger children and in the evening musical theatre (60-75 minutes) for a wider audience (250 persons).

Festival Park
theatre tents – dance – musical theatre
In the Festival Park, we schedule smaller-scale theatre, dance, music and musical theatre performances that appear several times per day. The performances are in smaller tents or other small areas with an audience capacity of 1 to 80 persons. A preview on the outside of the performance location is a plus.

POP-UP THEATRE

We present high-quality street theatre from all corners of the globe.
