Using only his body and a live soundscape of everyday noises and cinematic music, Charles Pas shows a person trying to make sense of the world around him. He wants to understand ordinary life, to uncover what lies behind the masks we wear every day.

'Victory Boogie Woogie' is a physical performance about falling behind, about losing yourself. A struggle with the everyday.

Charles Pas is a performance artist with a powerful physical style. His work explores how we can still reach each other—and ourselves—in a world full of noise. Often inspired by personal themes, his performances express deep human emotions like grief, longing and surrender. A key element in his work is his collaboration with music producer and multi-instrumentalist Rint Mennes, who masterfully blends environmental sounds and music to create a complete sensory experience.
