Paradigm

A 'paradigm' is a framework through which we understand the world. But what happens when that view begins to shift? The dancers clash, pull and push. They seek each other out, only to push away again. That is the core of being human, is it nog?

Music, light and even silence take part in this dance. 'Paradigm' explores what it means to be human: moving between attraction and rejection, surrender and resistance. This performance does not provide answers — it invites you to watch, to recognise, and to move along.

About the artists
Arjuna Vermeulen is a theatre maker deeply rooted in hiphop culture. With a background as a breaker, host, performer and community builder, he uses physical expression to explore abstract, social and emotional themes. Since 2024, Arjuna has been part of PLAN for talent development in Brabant, where he continues to grow as a maker under the wings of Boulevard. Read more about PLAN.
