Her debut album 'Ez Kî Me' is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Anatolian music: at times a battle cry, at others a tender call for identity and connection. The album was nominated for the prestigious Songlines Music Award and the UPBEAT Best New Talent Award 2024.
Now, Meral Polat presents brand-new music in which she blends the Kurdish soul with the raw energy and emotion of the blues. Different eras and cultures merge into a deeply moving and hypnotic performance that resonates long after the final note.
