In his music, Latin American rhythms merge with hip hop, funk, reggae and electronic beats. Live, that means just one thing: letting go. His style is often called ‘Future Latin’, but really, it is a genre of its own.

What you hear is rhythmic and raw — what you feel is connection. His sound tells stories of in-between worlds, migration and identity, but above all, it is about coming together and claiming your freedom. His lyrics echo the story of his parents, Chilean refugees who fled political oppression. That history, combined with his liberal upbringing in Amsterdam, fuels his music with urgency and soul.

MAURINO does not seek labels. He creates space — for the groove, for the message, for the body and for the spirit. Every show is an invitation to move, to celebrate who you are. “This is me,” he says. “And I am proud of it.”

Maurino Alarcón [CL/NL] grew up in Amsterdam as the son of Chilean refugees. That dual heritage shapes everything he does: from his musical choices and his political edge to his unstoppable stage presence. Former frontman of the Latin-electro band TenTemPiés, he has been performing under his own name since 2022. Albums like Ahora Sí and Entre Mundos show an artist in full bloom: unclassifiable, fiery, and always reaching for real connection.
