In the green polders of the land of Maas and Waal, four friends - a rebellious teenager, a perfect son-in-law, that one favourite colleague and a slightly hyperactive adolescent - decided to start the indie pop band Scarlet Rose. So, Scarlet Rose was born out of that lifelong friendship, tied together by a passion for rock music to which they added their own twist. What comes out in the end is best described as a mix of rock and indie against the backdrop of Latin American, Caribbean and African rhythms topped off with lovely vocals. The idea during their live acts? You can sing and dance away all your troubles while the music takes you to where you want to be.
