Bolistas by company Corpo Máquina Society was made by choreographer Guilherme Miotto with freestyle footballer Nasser El Jackson, breakdancer Simon Bus, sound artist Boris de Klerk and dancer Stasy Terehhove. For the performance at Boulevard Nassers role will be taken over by two-time Dutch champion freestyle soccer Rowdy Heinen and Stasy's role is played by dancer Jolanda Bazzi.

Location BLVRD Theater
Running time 50 min.
Genre Theatre, dance

Rowdy is an agile freestyle football player. What he does with the ball is magical. He feels challenged to push boundaries and also challenges his fellow players because he knows exactly what his body can do. Simon folds himself into impossible movements. It becomes exciting when he unnerves Rowdy with his agility. And Jolanda also throws her body into the fight to surprise. She can fold herself in impossible curves just like Simon, but still in her very own way. Boris works magic with sound. With a sense of sound and rhythm, he supports the dancers and always creates a new world.

In Bolistas it is as if the four are playing a game together in which the aim is to find each other over and over again. A lively game of curiosity, camaraderie and trust arises. Their accuracy of movement invites you to look very precisely. But in everything they try, freedom is their hold and they make room for each other.

For adults, but also fun for children from 8 years old.
