When I'm with you is a sparkling theatre concert by the Bossche theatre company MATZER Theaterproductions. After 22 different performances, it is time to musically celebrate the 12.5-year collaboration between theatre producer Madeleine Matzer and composer and singer-songwriter Helge Slikker.

Location BLVRD Theater
Running time 80 min.
Genre Muziektheater,  Muziek

From the successful show Marilyn Monroe (2010) to the recent play Broos (2023), Madeleine and Helge have always shared a love for newly written and mostly English-language (pop) songs.

When I'm with you is a musical journey through songs from various performances including De eenzaamheid van priemgetallen (2011), Gejaagd door de wind (2014) and Everybody Happy?! (2012). Each of the songs tells a piece of history, a train of thought or a feeling of a character. The concert proves that the songs in themselves are also a feast for the ear and eye.

Musicians and actors who have played along over the years will once again give act-de-presence to complete the party. Expect a moving, layered and highly varied musical evening.

You are invited to dive into recognition or be surprised.

When I'm with you by MATZER Theatre Productions will premiere on Thursday the 10th of August at 20:30h.

Curious, listen to the music!
