Fanon Mixtape
Thu, Aug 5, 2021 t/m Fri, Aug 6, 2021
Mathieu Charles | BE

French and Martinican psychiatrist, writer, Pan-African philosopher, freedom fighter and revolutionary: Frantz Fanon's work influenced postcolonial thinking, Marxism and the critical theory. In Fanon Mixtape, spoken performer and poet Mathieu Charles leads himself by this phenomenon. He looks at the Western civilisation through Frantz's glasses, the whitewashed world and closed doors he meets on his way. A story about how he tries to navigate life as a chameleon, melted in a philosophical mixtape of text, sound, theatre, spoken word, and hip hop.
