About the artist
Barnaby Savage [NL] is a theatre maker, performer, and founder of the new foundation Guts & Glitter. He graduated from the mime department in 2014. His work explores queer history, intimacy, and public space through performance, audio, and installation. Recent projects include Cruise Verhalen, a growing audio archive of queer cruising spots, and DREK MANOR—a platform for radical, experimental drag (produced by Dance Space Destiny), from which 'The Fags of Destiny' emerged. As a performer, he has appeared in The Narcosexuals by Dries Verhoeven—on sexual freedom and drug use within the queer community—and in the work of Annica Muller.
