Omar Rajeh speaks about an intimate past that no longer exists. A past that does not have a future anymore. The images, meanings, feelings, people and happy moments are silenced. The memories faded as if he lives in a world that is unfamiliar with a past, as if the connection between his past and present are broken.

‘It might have been weird on many levels that I chose dance in a country that was coming out of a civil war, destruction, death, and loss. However, dance at the time seemed to be the most revolutionary, the most provocative, and the most confrontational.’ – Omar Rajeh
