Concert

Seven years ago, Mo Ahmed, djembé player and bandleader of Kush Band, brought intriguing Sudanese rhythms to the Netherlands. He put together a band with Sudanese musicians on authentic instruments (djembé, log drum, talking drums, congo) and Dutch musicians on drums, electric guitar and saxophone. In this combination, the band manages to create a unique sound in which traditional African rhythms meet modern influences. One thing is for certain: the audience is always dancing within seconds.
