The piece is brought to life through the movement concept of “threading,” originating from breakdance. In a thread, you create a physical opening by connecting several body parts and passing another body part through it. In Brothers, brothers Justin and Sem interlace their limbs in countless ways, creating flowing—yet at times struggling—movement sequences that draw you into a hypnotic trance.
