Join Berlin as an extra
Living Apartment Together offers an insight into the lives of several residents of a (fictional) apartment building. Through a life-size film projection on the side of a real apartment building, the audience is introduced to the residents of five different flats.
But Living Apartment Together is more than just film - it is also theatre: each flat resident appears live on stage, interpreted by a double of the actor featured in the film.
We are looking for 13 extras to be available throughout the period, see all roles below. (You do not have to look exactly like the picture.)
In addition, we are looking for a dog + companion of the dog and a car with driver.
As an extra, you will receive a fee of €200.
As an extra, you do not have to speak Dutch, so it does not matter what language you speak. Dutch will be spoken during rehearsals, but if you prefer to communicate in English or French, that is also possible.
You can sign up as an extra until Monday 28 July.
Time investment and scheduling
Prior to the performance at Boulevard, there are two online meetings:
Friday 1 Aug at 17:00 - 18:30
Introduction of the concept of the performance by the director and the rehearsal director. For this, they will use excerpts from the film and from the recording of the performance. After this first meeting, extras will receive a link to the full registration and we ask them to watch it before the next meeting. Participants will also receive an information sheet about their character.
Friday 8 Aug at 19.00 - 20.00
Questions and reactions after watching the registration
We will go through the rehearsal and play schedule together.
We discuss which costume elements the extras should bring themselves.
