A feminist practice...

Inspired by the feminist guidelines of the apap network, in which Boulevard participates, the festival colleborates with the connected artists on more equal practices within the performing arts, addressing inequality, and the stimulation of a change towards intersectional feminism.

A feminist practice...

1. ... is self-critical, transparent and accountable

• reflect your own core values in your actions

• listen to everyone's voice with equal attention and importance

• be honest about the distribution of power and money

• take responsibility to make change where it is needed.

2. ... opposes working models based on inequality, opaque power relations, exclusion and exploitation by proposing concrete alternatives

• fight for fair pay for everyone

• work structurally with groups that are marginalized or discriminated against

• ensure a satisfactory balance between work and leisure

• empower each other

• pay attention to the impact of your activities on the environment and propose concrete alternatives.

3. ... assumes doing less

• do less to minimize environmental impact

• do less to improve your listening and self-critical skills

• do less to work with more accuracy, care and purpose

• do less to make room for the unexpected.
