Compagnie KAiET! - De Trilogie van de Vieze Verol Tjes: Witte
Peper (BE) Dutch première
Dirty stories. Every city has them. Lurking in the inebriated
ramblings of night owls and early birds, obscured by the shiny
public-relations slogans and untarnished pennants of public
officials, forgotten below the breeze-stirred remnants at a disused
meeting place - this is where the true nature of the city is
revealed: the dirty stories, the soiled tales, battered reports,
bespattered accounts. Masterly storyteller Geert Hautekiet has
collected these and turned them into three scintillating musical
performances: De Trilogie van de Vieze Verol Tjes. Part one, the
prologue to this trilogy, Witte Peper, can be seen at
Theaterfestiva Boulevard.

Renske van den Broek
- Docklands
"I want to make theatre that is like a rollercoaster.
Inescapable!" Renske van den Broek creates experiences for
daredevils; experiences for the reckless who doze off on the
biggest, scariest fairground rides. Oppressive, disconcerting,
true-to-life adventures - close to, and even more often over, the
edge. For example Amoris, two years ago, in which a dripping actor
was chased around the audience by a chainsaw and flying baked beans
in tomato sauce. During Boulevard Theatre Festival 2010, Renske van
den Broek will be presenting Docklands: a claustrophobic trip in a
sea container: senses swaying with the swell in a storm of shadowy
