During eleven days in August Theaterfestival Boulevard ‘s-Hertogenbosch (The Netherlands) presents a range of the most interesting theater, dance, music (theater) and interdisciplinary productions in front of an extensive, local and curious audience.
The festival offers a high quality, contemporary and experimental, domestic and international, productions. Sustainable partnerships have been established with artists from The Netherlands as well as Flanders (northern part of Belgium) and some are co-produced by the festival. In addition to this, interesting international work is selected as a framework to start the dialogue with other productions from the Low Countries of both established and rather emerging artists. The work presented is often without text and/or accessible by non-Dutch natives. Information regarding this accessibility is to be found on the page of the performances programmed. Theaterfestival Boulevard presents visual, sensible and staggering theatre, with regard to the heart, for the full surrender.
We just published a booklet in English about our festival with general information.

International professionals programme
The organisation of the festival invites, in cooperation with Dutch Performing Arts, a number of international professionals to come and visit the festival, this edition in between the 8th and the 11th of August 2018. Also a smaller group of dance professionals will visit dance work from the 3rd till the 6th of August. During the program, they will get to know the festival, the directors, artists and choreographers and each other. The program promotes the dialogue as described above and, with this program specifically, also in an intercultural way. The (emerging) Dutch artists will get ‘international eyes’ on their work and will be able to reflect on their work in a rather borderless way. Obviously as international visitor you are more than welcome to visit the festival. The festival could help with your travels, accommodation and tickets.
